I used the wrong email address

Why your assessment is attached to one specific address, and how to sort it out.

Last updated 20 September 2026

Your assessment is attached to the email address the employer invited you on. That is what makes it yours, and it is why a different address finds nothing.

If you cannot find your assessment

You are probably searching on the wrong address. Try:

  • the address the invitation email arrived at
  • the address you gave when you applied
  • your other address, if you have a personal one and a work one

Enter it at find your assessment. If an assessment exists for that address, a fresh link arrives straight away.

The page says it has emailed you whether or not an assessment exists for the address, so that message is not confirmation you used the right one. Check the inbox rather than the page.

If you signed up with a different address

You may have created a separate account that has no assessment attached to it. Nothing is broken and nothing is lost: your assessment is still sitting against the address the employer used. Sign in on that address instead.

If the employer used an address you no longer have

Contact the company that invited you and ask them to re-invite you on the address you can actually use. They can do that, and it takes them a moment.

We cannot move an assessment to a different address on our own, because we cannot verify who should receive it. That check is the employer's.

If you have already started on the other address

Your progress stays with that address. Finish on it if you still can. If you cannot get into it at all, tell the employer what happened before starting again somewhere else, so they know why there are two records.
